About the Founder
Eli Smith, MBA, mother, entrepreneur, fashion designer, and lifelong learner who believes strong communities are built when people have opportunities to connect, create, and contribute. Throughout her career in business, finance, design, and community service, she has been driven by a simple question: “Where is the value in life if you're not making it better for every successive generation?”
Through both personal and professional experiences, Eli has come to believe that everyone benefits from support, encouragement, and opportunities to step away from the pressures of daily life. Whether through creativity, conversation, or shared experiences, she believes even small moments of connection can have a lasting impact. Inspired by this belief, Eli founded SewFay to create welcoming opportunities for people of all ages to gather, learn, create, and build meaningful relationships.
